Major let down
Well as most of you already know...Meg injured herself and was not able to try out for Cougann's. She cried and cried the day it happened but Keifer talked her up and she is now pumped up to be a Ruff Rider. She has heard from many that sophomore year is the toughest year so she is going to push herself academically and try out next spring for Cougann's. She will not be able to dance the rest of this year and part of her still thinks that she will be able to still be in the recital. Dr. Charboneau just looked at her and said "you do realize that you pulled your muscle away from bone and tore a hunk of bone with it right?" She just looked at him like he was stupid and said "yeah". Ms. Compton, the Cougann coach, called Meg and talked to her for like 20 minutes and told her that she wouldv'e definitely made it and she will be pushing her all year to try out in the spring. So we shall see.
Last night at dinner Meg got the call that all of her friends made the team. She tried really hard to be happy but I could tell it was bothering her. She didn't eat another bite after that and really was kinda bummed. She looked like she was about to cry and that made me sad and I had to go to the bathroom and have a good cry. Chloe did make it and Meg told her that she better not ditch her and find a new best friend...ha ha.
As for the house guests....that is a whole other blog. Damn is all I can say. Damn.
I will blog again Monday night and fill in all the gaps. Hope all is well!!!
